How I Feel About Weekends Right Now
I need things to look forward to.
Structure is required for me to experience freedom.
I thought I craved weeks without a schedule, waking up to do whatever I want. But I enjoy when what I want to do is happening at 2-4pm so my mind has some boundaries to work within if I want to write or go for a run, etc.
I measure my weekends by how I feel when they're over.
On Mondays, I'd look back and gut check "that was great, we did this and this and that" or it's like "all we did was lounge."
Both are fine but the former makes me feel better.
