Lately, I've been taking a break from the robust, forthright "how-to-succeed-in-your-work-life" books, which is typically my first choice and instead, picking up more heartfelt, touchy feely pieces of work.

Picked up Tuesdays with Morrie by Mitch Albom at a Strand Book Store 1/2 Off Paperback Sale. This book has been on my list for a few years but I never got around to picking it up because I never thought I'd be into memoirs or biographical fiction (I'm more of the case study, economics explained, emotional intelligence lessons type of girl).

Moreover, I didn't think I'd like to read about dying... however, my friends, this book was SO SO SO good - such an awakening - a recommendation to you all! I read it in about 3 hours.. you can probably read it in less than that, I just had to stop every few pages to reevaluate LIFE.

The culture we have does not make people feel good about themselves. We’re teaching the wrong things. And you have to be strong enough to say if the culture doesn’t work, don’t buy it.
